Very cool, but I noticed that was not a big plane. I would be flying with a Great Dane who would have to be in a crate for 11-14 hours. That was a beautiful Blue Euro Dane, something I am going to get, Black Blue or Brindled is what I want. 7 hours in a cabin isn;t the same. I will keep looking.. TY

Bernese Mountain Dogs are very sociable and want to be right up against you. But they live only about 8 years with 10 being outlier.

Mine (a one year old male) ate a pair of my girlfriends underwear and they got wrapped in his intestines and he almost died and it cost me $6100 to get them surgically removed. Please, please, PLEASE understand that these creatures are INSATIABLE!!!!! Anything that can go in their mouths will and if it can’t they’re still going to try. He was also born with hip dysplasia on his left side so he has a pronounced limp. This will cost around $10,000 to fix. It was my mistake for purchasing from a “puppy mill” in Shippensburg Pennsylvania. A mistake I made foolishly and accept. This is my first dog. I’ve only ever had cats. He LOVES the cat. The cat just tolerates him. He’s SO BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He’s as loving and affectionate as he is bad. I was not aware of the trials and tribulations that come with the breed. We’re still so thankful for him. He’s 105 pounds now and even if I’m in a recliner he has to be on my lap. He’s definitely not a cat😂😂😂😂 Good luck to all Bernese owners. They’re a lot of work but they’re worth it.

we had a bernese muntain dog years ago when they were a relatievly rare breed. He was a very challenging puppy and a high strung adult dog. He also died from Lymphoma which is very common in the breed. Anyone who is considering obtaining a bernese MOuntain dog should be aware of this. Lymphoma or lymphosarcoma is a type of cancer that afflicts Bernese Mountain Dogs more than other breeds. This disease makes the body form abnormal lymphocytes, which are a type of white blood cell. Because white blood cells can be found throughout the body, this cancer can show up almost anywhere.
